Arc Planning: Zyuranger Vs Jetman

This is a planning arc that would come with the story. This won't use any Power Rangers new footages, but I may as well put this on the fic. It's kinda shout out to Power Rangers after all, where Vs movies are in the general season episodes rather than several movies.

The story itself is undecided for the moment, but this will serve as a good development for the upcoming Geki/Mei/Burai triangle, with Ryuu/Kaori/Gai as the 'spiritual' predecessor in these terms. I think it would also fill in some gap on how Ryuu first proposed for Kaori rather than their proposals and such occurring off-screen. Likewise, I could put in tidbits on how Burai seemed to recognize that Gai would die in a latter date, just probably he wouldn't reveal that to Gai out of worry.

As of enemies, I'm not quite sure. Either Zenodos would be in alone, or he could get help from Tranza or Radiguet, returned from the dead or sorts. But one thing, I'm planning that Zenodos would be extremely ruthless so team ups with those two would equal gigantic trouble for the Zyuranger that they need the Jetman for help.

Oh and probably, Dan and Ako would get some good interactions, because of something that will be revealed later for Dan's side, and Ako... well because of that one incident where she got a 'birdman' boyfriend named Dan as well... Nope, no romance between the two, but I'd just say they'd make some good interaction together.

Planning is that far for now, I hope this will be in my mind long enough I can plan it well!

Characters And Extra Stuffs

I never thought I'd touch this blog again. However, I've finally gotten into my hands the source of MMPR episodes that uses the Zyu2 monsters, thus once again this fic planning is continuing!

In here I will describe the characters involved and how they evolve beyond the characterization they got in the original Zyuranger.

1. Geki/Tyranno Ranger

The leader of Zyurangers. As such, he would find himself quite the target of Zenodos, as his grudge against the Zyurangers, especially the Tyranno Ranger that defeated him in the past was really big. Still the brave leader, Geki would find his justice being threatened and whether he can protect everyone like before. He was glad that his brother Burai eventually returns to help him one more time, but at that point, some of his relationship with the other Zyurangers may take a blow, especially on one of his friends he's grown quite close to... Mei.

2. Goushi/Mammoth Ranger

Official vice-leader of the Zyuranger. Once again standing steadfast to preserve justice, Goushi resolves to protect his friends and earth from the wrath of Zenodos, his anger to the Sharma tribe was equally as big. as the Sharma, Etof and Daim tribes were amongst the tribes that boasted the most powerful Knights in order to defeat Zenodos in the past. On Burai's return and the bonds between him and Geki, perhaps doubts will cloud Goushi's mind and worthiness as a Zyuranger and Geki's vice leader.

3. Dan/Tricera Ranger

The jokester of the team. Dan attempted to get serious on the face of Zenodos' strike. Although sometimes his resolution got shaken, he still decided his best to fight for justice. He finally bought a computer, but eventually tragedy strikes when a new friend of his, a geeky but dedicated girl, perished due to his indecisiveness, forcing him to mature and eventually learn many technical things, enabling him to be the inventor of the group.

4. Boi/Tiger Ranger

The smart, wise boy of the team. Boi's spirit will be greatly tested during the battle against Zenodos. With many being clouded by doubts and unsureness, Boi kept his positive spirit to make sure everything goes all right.

5. Mei/Ptera Ranger

Sole female of the Zyurangers, and even so, Zenodos did not discount the threat Mei gave to him as proven with several times Bandora's plans were foiled due to her ancestry. She will learn further about love, this time about 'romance' as she matured. She finds herself growing attached to Geki, but when Burai returned in a shambled state, Mei also showered him with much care and bonded with him also, with the possibility of creating a triangle strife between brothers.

6. Burai/Dragon Ranger

The sixth hero of Zyuranger. At Zenodos' arrival, Burai was sent back to the living world in order to help the Zyurangers. However, as he died once, he had trouble re-adjusting to the world of living, to the point of walking was a chore to him. Aside of Geki welcoming him, Mei also showered him with much care to the point that he began to appreciate the Princess... however, with that also comes another seed to clash with his brother once more, something Burai would want to avoid at all cost.

7. Barza

Mentor of the Zyurangers, a Great Wizard who helped in defeating Bandora in the past. Unfortunately for him, Zenodos is also adept in magic that could even match Barza, thus perhaps he might need more than his usual magic in order to help the Zyurangers...

8. Dark Warlord Zenodos

A feared Dark Warlord that terrorized the Earth in the past, and was defeated and erased from history thanks to the efforts of the very first Zyurangers and Bandora. Now revived thanks to Dai-Satan's power, he now sought vengeance to the Zyurangers. While alone, his immense power was feared through all, and combined with Dai-Satan's strength, he grew even more powerful. He also freed and enslaved Grifforzer, Tottpatt and Bukkbakk as a vengeance against Bandora.

9. Grifforzer

Formerly Bandora's right hand man, he was released from the dumpster where he and Bandora was sealed... by Zenodos and was forced to become his slave. While he served Zenodos, he REALLY missed his old master and his wife Lamie...

10. Tottpatt

One of Bandora's servants released and enslaved by Zenodos. For one thing, Tottpatt totally disliked Zenodos, but simply had little choice, overpowered by Zenodos' might.

11. Bukkbakk

One of Bandora's servants released and enslaved by Zenodos. While his intelligence didn't get better, Bukkbakk also shares dislike to Zenodos but couldn't do a thing.

Story Overview

This is just the synopsis of the story, one that took basis of this whole fic. I may also be expanding the lore of the respective Zyurangers as well.

OK, here we go...

Long before the war waged by Witch Bandora, there was an ambitious Warlord that roamed the Earth. His name was Zenodos. Single-handedly, he rampaged throughout the world where humans and dinosaur coexist. He justified himself fitting to be the ruler of the world due to his immense strength. Eventually, from the humans, came a discovery that would change the tide of war itself... the Dino Buckler. Thus the Zyurangers was first created in order to repel the assault of Zenodos. With even Bandora putting her life in line to vanquish the evil, Zenodos was defeated and due to the horrible atrocity that Zenodos committed, everyone agreed to remove Zenodos from any traces of history.

Then Bandora waged her war against the Dinosaurs in retaliation of the death of her son Kai. After being sealed, she's freed, only to be defeated by the current Zyurangers; Geki, Goushi, Dan, Boi and Mei; in present time.

The Zyurangers, with their mission done, departed to Heaven. However, one thing slipped their mind... before Bandora summoned Dai-Satan, he was traveling throughout the verse, trying to locate the place where Zenodos was slain. He managed to plant its essence to him, enabling him to be revived when there were enough strife and fighting in the world. The battle with Bandora caused enough strife and fighting and thus during the Zyurangers' trip to Heaven, they were interrupted with a bolt of lightning...

Zenodos is back. Now empowered with Dai-Satan's strength, he declared himself Dark Warlord and drove the Zyurangers away from Heaven. He decided to continue his conquest and make the Zyurangers pay for what they did to them. Knowing that a new threat just rose once more, and this time possibly bigger than Bandora, the Zyurangers postponed their return to Heaven, with the permission of Daizyujin, and once again returned to Earth.

Zenodos is not alone, however. Taking over Bandora's former palace, he hid himself in space just like Bandora. He found Bandora's seal and to spit on Bandora further, he kidnapped Grifforzer, Tottpatt and Bukkbakk, and forced them to serve him as his generals.

The battle for the Zyurangers began anew. And for them... perhaps bigger things are at stake more than the children of the Earth...

Intro Post! What this blog is about

Hey, this is ChrisX of the Super Sentai Vs Super Sentai fame. I know I'm still busy with my actual huge fic, but I want to make this blog as a future project probably after my other fic is done.

So what is this blog/fic about?

They'll be back, folks... in fanfiction.

This is a fic intended to be a sequel to Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Aside of being a sequel, this serves as a darker battles of Zyuranger, who was previously heavy on children-helping and making it more lighter and softer. This is more about the darker sides dealt in the likes of Jetman or Dairanger, and hopefully shed more on the other Zyu tribes.

Bandora is no longer the villain. However, she has her replacement in form of Dark Warlord Zenodos. And yes, basically, this is supposed to be the Sentai counterpart of Power Rangers' Lord Zedd. Just no marriage with Bandora. As with the PR footages, many of Bandora's allies like Grifforzer, Totpatt and Bukbakk will return as Zenodos' allies, though the reason was far darker than 'they betrayed Bandora on whim'. Of course, this means Bandora, Lamie and Pleprechuan will be absent.

The monsters will use the monsters not seen in Zyuranger, but appears in Power Rangers. And yes, that means Burai will also return... and as originally planned... perhaps he'll die again in the end. There will be some other things to accomodate with the footages, which can take form in character development like Dan stopping being a slacker and actually take note in technical things (like Billy). Or more partnership between Boi and Mei. And of course, the infamous Tommy-Kimberly romance implanted in bonding between Mei and Burai. However, one twist I'm adding is that probably Geki will throw himself into the triangle.

This fic will not get started for a very long time. But for the moment, I'll be using this blog to store various information and ideas for this fic.
